Filling in a second claim on the same card

I used a credit card I haven't used in years I found out there was PPI on it! I didn't even remember when I took out that card so I asked for the complain from from Barclaycard and marked every box as ''CAN'T REMEMBER''. Later on, I received a letter from them saying they believed the PPI sales was fair and no payment was due. This letter then had: ''LINKED CARDS: XXXX, XXXX"
That's when I realised the account I have now is the same as the one I applied for in 2005 and now I can remember the application process, so I phoned Barclaycard and asked for a second claim form, they refused and sent a letter saying the complaint was dealt with last year... Is that right? Don't I have the right to fill another claim now I know which card we're talking about?

You can only complain once and had 6 months from the rejection letter to refer it to FOS.
However just having PPI is not a reason for complaint, you need to show why you believe it was mis-sold. What valid reasons did you give?
Note: If you've not used the card much, it's possible you didn't pay any ppi (or very little) as it's only charged on any outstanding monthly balance, and would be itemised on a separate line on the monthly statement. Did you check your statements?0 -
when I applied I gave ''CAN'T REMEMBER'' and ''NOT SURE'' as I was completely unaware which card it would be for (an probably a bit lazy to investigate further). Only after I got a letter I realized which card it was linked to.0
