I haven't appealed before now as I have been trying very hard to rehabilitate myself enough to go back to work - even through self employment but I failed and now I am realising I dont think I will achieve returning to work in the long term. :o
Failure is only someone elses judgement.
Without change there would be no butterflies.

If you really thought that you should have been put in the support group you would have appealed straight away, you are appealling solely because of the 365 day rule and not on medical grounds and I personnal thing that it shouldnt be allowed because its bringing the appeal system to its knees and preventing genuine appeals from being heard sooner which puts a huge strain on the genuine appealants.

But that's not really the case anymore, appeals are currently being done much quicker than they were this time last year.

And lots of people don't read and understand the decision letter. We all know DWP letters would not get a "Plain English" award. They are very difficult to understand, even DWP staff have trouble trying to understand what it says in DWP letters. Everyone has a right to appeal within 13 months if the reason it is a late appeal is reasonable. I think, that not understanding the ramifications of a badly written DWP letter is a good reason for a late appeal. And so is "wanting to make a go of it in WRAG and slowly coming to the realisation that WRAG requirements are too much to be able to cope with..."
