Virgin Credit Card

I had a virgin credit card which I paid off in by balance transferring
the outstanding balance to a halifax credit card. I also have a 2nd credit card - Nationwide which is coming to the end of its 0% rate next month.
My question is it was 9 months ago when I cancelled my Virgin Credit Card (think part of the MBNA group). Can I apply for the same Virgin balance card again in this short period of time?

According to some table I found somewhere, Virgin is:
Virgin : 30 days after last statement
No idea how accurate it is/if it is still current.0 -
As your card is clear you can apply for another card from the MBNA stable at any time. They are also very good about splitting limits e.g. My new card had a limit of £12k and they were happy to transfer £6k from my other card so my overall limit with them remained the same. useful if you want to make several balance transfers to put all in one place or make a large purchase.0
