Anyone interested in helping out with a FREE project? I am not skilled enough to do what I want & would be grateful of help or pointing in the right direction.

Think of OsCommerce and the way this shop software allows you to a. Have Members, b. Have multiple catagories, c. Have multiple products and most importantly d. Manage stock control and you will begin to see the scope of what im after. I suppose I could strip OsCommerce of the components that were not needed, but it would be very sloppy.

So, who's up for a challenge?

Because OsC is a shop, I need the functionality & management features without actually charging for a (Purchase, for want of a better word). The key thing with OsC is the ability to specify stock quantity eg 5, then for that product to no longer be sold once the quantity has been fulfilled, if that makes sense!!

What is it you are actually trying to do? Do you still want to have an online shop or are you just using it to control stock in house and the shop front not to be used. You could have all of your prices £0 and no pay module installed, that way you would not charge anyone, your stock would be reducted and you can install the contrubition 'low stock report'
