When we start out on the Debt-Free Wannabe trail we do loads of big "stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the Gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free...
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending. :money:

Morning everyone!
I am at home as have GP apt at 10.20 (chest sounds like an old boiler). My two colleagues who work in next door offices have both been diagnosed with bronchitis and put on antibiotics. It sounds like a dog kennels down our corridor with all the barking!
So I'm not sure what my list is today. I'll need to spend some money on a prescription and some more ibruprofen/paracetamol/lozenges (which are keeping me going).
If I feel well enough later I should go to work but I also really need to do some cooking (pasta sauce and soups to use up veg and maybe some more bread).
I may just rest and get son 1 to cook (he is in the bad books for raiding his savings again - he only got paid 10 days ago!).
Hope you got an interview DNMS and good luck for later.

Hi Everyone,
I haven't been on here for a little while as I've just been manically busy with one thing and another - so I hope to get back into the swing of things
- I overslept this morning and woke up at 8.50am  I'm suffering from really bad insomnia at the minute so am having trouble waking up after I eventually get to sleep. Ooopsie! Thankfully work are understanding
- LSD today (bought a jar of coffee this morning)
- All meals from stores
- Updated my signature, I'm over the 50% paid off mark :j
- Surveys still to do - I've slipped with these recently
- Free postcode lottery done - the postcode today is just down the road from me!
- Email dissertation tutor with a couple of draft chapters
- Put a wash on when I get home after work. I usually set the wash to come on through the day but I didn't have time this morning...
- My TV is on it's way out and my friend has kindly lent me a nice little flat screen to use until I can save up for another. Snazzy! I picked it up last night so can set it up tonight
