Hi
Logged on as normal today to check Yahoo emails, and it seems they have brought in a new feature - "sponsored" emails.
There is not a tick-box next to these, and I cant find a way of deleting them
I do not want to read them, as (a) I don't read spam and (b) they could contain malware etc.
Has anyone else had this problem and found a way round it ( apart from switching to a new email provider, of course )
Thanks !!

If your browser is Firefox, there's a FREE add-on which cuts out all those pesky Yahoo mailbox ads.
As I'm new to MSE Forums, I'm not allowed to include any links in my post. But if you Google 'hide yahoo ads firefox', you'll find the add on there.0 -
You could start using Thunderbird instead of Yahoo. Since the new Yahoo (grrr!) came in I have only been using Thunderbird, linked to my Yahoo accounts, and find it much better, far easier to use, no hassle, and I can link all my email accounts into the one Thunderbird display.0

Adblock Plus will block ads. For the email banner that appears in your inbox you need to change a setting: deselect the option "Allow some non-intrusive advertising" in ADB.
To change this setting, open ADB, select filter preferences and at the lower left there is an option to deselect.
You'll still see an inbox coloured banner bar appear in Yahoo Mail at first login but with no text, changing folders and returning to your inbox will remove the banner.
