Good morning all,Wet,Wet, Wet today :)which is apt as I'm off to see Marty Pellow in Evita at Dartford this afternoon with my two special ladies (my DDs)I treated them to it as its 37 years since we saw in in the West End :):):)It was the first live theatre that my two children had seen and they both fell in love with the whole aspect of musicals and live theatre. Its also a big thank you to my girls for just being the best DDs I could wish for and how well they look after their dappy old Mum :):):)

Yesterday was DGS Henry's 13th birthday and he enjoyed himself and was pleased with all of his presents I have promised to take him into Chatham on Saturday morning so he can spend some of his holiday cash.
Right, time I got a wriggle on and had some breakfast and I also want to make some soup this morning as the fridge is empty and I like to have it in there for lunches.Still not bought any shopping yet this week, I'm eating from the store cupboard and freezer
Have a good, if damp day chums, it seems to be a bit damp all over the country today but tomorrow is looking good :):)

Having a celebration get together on our patio this p.m. And need to go and get some flowers, so that is today taken care of. Tomorrow is a lunch date, and then the quiz. Must get some cleaning and washing done for our departure, as DH's Neice & family having a holiday here in July.

((Hugs)), spoons, and positive vibes all round. take care eveyone. DG

    Morning all,

Very wet here as well, I have washing on but if the weather doesn't clear up it will have to go into the TD.

Off to see Sister and BIL this morning. We are all off to Norfolk in just less than 3 weeks, renting a house on the coast. We decided rather than take food with us because of lack of space in the car we would order from Mr. T. Have booked a slot for the Saturday evening, just have to finalise the order.

2 Grandchildren coming for the tea tonight. Himself will pick them up from school, although DGS will probably be home early because he is in the midst of A levels. I will do a roast for them because they look forward to that with fresh strawberries for afters.

Himself had a haircut yesterday, cut within an inch of his life which is unusual for him, but looks good. He still isn't sleeping well, I hope the holiday might change that.

Lyn food sounds delicious can I come too, I could always help with the Zebra child?:)

Have a good day everyone if you can.

    Hi everyone,

Couldn't get to sleep last night so I'm feeling tired this morning. I'm sure it's related to hormones because when it happens I also have lots of hot flushes (there are no men left on this board are there? If so sorry for TMI).

I had a productive day yesterday and I managed to start quilting the quilt I am making for dd's friend Dan. I need to go and buy some more thread for it though, although I have a voucher so it will be free. I also need a new bra. How many bras do you all have? I only own two decent ones at a time and wear them to death (one has now expired), but they are so expensive for decently fitting ones (big boobs here I'm afraid).

I want a reasonably early start after the school rush so I'd better go and get ready.

    Have a good day.

    Snoozer, you have my sympathy.

I am a "big" girl as well, and I can't tell you how many bras I have thrown away over the years after just wearing once or twice.

I used to wear under wired bras but since having radiotherapy I can't wear those any more. I buy mine from M&S, and I do pay quite a lot for them for a good fit, I just wish they were a bit prettier as well. Just because we have big boobs doesn't mean we don't want to feel feminine as well.

    I wish you luck.

At the moment none but fingers crossed when I finish with my further two ops I will be able to wear a bra after 7 years without one.I hated the prosthesis and the bras were awful I am looking forward to being able to buy some nice ones by Christmas.

By the way I saw the last part of Happy Valley last night what a really gripping drama it was. Sarah Lancashire is such a good actress I thought and very convincing as a policewoman.Excellent story and it would make a very good series I think, anyone else been watching it.The lad who played the nasty was very good as well

Candlelight, I can never find a good fit in M & S which is a shame because DH works for them so I get 20% discount. I go to bravissimo, which is expensive but I find that their styles are good. I had a lumpectomy 3 years ago so I am a bit lopsided which means I can never find a really good fit.

I've just paid our credit card account off and that has put me off going out, I'm going to make do with what I have for the present.

    Morning all,

    Yuk it's wet out there!

DH and DS2 have gone to work and I have just had my breakfast. No washing today, CBA as it's raining.

Dad is coming down in a short while to help me do DH's self assessment online. I hate doing it and I am so pleased my dad is a retired accountant as he understands all the terminology.

Candlelight - I am so pleased everything is all right.

    Fishcakes for dinner tonight.

Candlelight was pleased to see your good news yesterday.
I'm packing up the ornaments and such like today, stuff that isnt necessary :D CD uploading still ongoing (oops excuse me while I pop another in)
Judi what a shame you lost some photos but glad you managed to save some-we lost an awful lot last year when the pc had to be wiped & I still forget to back them up sometimes :o

JackieO- we thought Happy Valley was excellent too.
tru & camelot- we managed to 'lose' a hoe somewhere between the sm checkout and getting home, grr. The last one broke and I hate being without it.

Gammon joint for tea later- I had DGS all afternoon yesterday so it was a quick tea of bought quiche(ys though) jersey spuds and veg.Worth it for the cuddles though-Mrs LW enjoy Zebra child :)

Hope you all have a good day despite the rain x

    Morning all,

Been busy most of the morning with one thing and another. Beds are stripped and bedding being laundered. The kitchen looks like a bomb site with stuff everywhere.

Dogs diet isn't doing too well. Every time I go downstairs they nag me for food. Good excuse to stay up here eh?

Need to pop down the garden at some point to clean up after the dogs. I'm waiting for a break in the rain.

Roast pork and roast potatoes for tea..... that's if I can get to the work surfaces. I'm not quite with it today, I start one thing and move on to the next before completing the first thing.:rotfl:

A bit of news, important to me anyway. My daughter and her partner have got a court date for Soldiers adoption. June 12th. So looking forward to welcoming another little man into my life.

    Onwards and forwards,
    have a great day all.
