CHOCOLATE CRACKLES, as made in Oz, require copha.
In New Zealand, we used Kremelta.
Here, may I use creamed coconut?
Need choc crackles fix urgently(have been doing honey bubble square), so please help in this vital task.
Thankyou.

Thanks for that Plumpie. I would say that creamed coconut is not the same as copha. Copha appears to be a fat for baking made with coconut oil. Creamed coconut is made from the coconut 'meat' as far as I know. You could always try it and see what happens.0

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you

Thankyou all thus far. I am going to use Patak's creamed coconut and see what happens, before buying anything else.

YUM!
A nearby thread asks for a hobnobs recipe and I recently tinked wooden spoons with AussieLass over origins of OUR(kiwi)forerunners of Hobnobs, to whit, Anzac biscuits.
You'll find these in the above links, too.
Happy calories one and all, la vie est courte.
Rice bubble/honey bubble snaps are DIVINE buttery, honey-y things.
Chocolate crackles ditto-ly scrumptious, always a kiddie party treat, left to set in paper cases and, given that I am supposed to be articulate, you'll discern they are beyond description. There are loads more ref.s if you google.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:
