Incorrect Credit card limit on CR

Options
Hi Guys

Basically I have hit a wall with my current bank about an entry on my credit report.

To sum it up. I had a balance on my credit card of £1355 and a limit of £1500. In March I paid off the balance in total and about 10 days later reduced the limit to £500.

My credit report however shows the balance for March as £1355 and the limit as £500.

This would make it appear as I was over my limit which I was at no point. The same thing happened with Barclaycard and they fixed it immediately.

I had a letter from Lloyds today who said there was no negative data on my credit report and that the account was filed as up to date. I rung them up and the guy on the phone said I was thinking to hard about it and other lenders do not see my balance or limit and it would not affect my credit score(I know, I know!!)

My question is when a credit check is run will lenders as I imagine assume I was over my limit in March or just be happy I have all green mark every month. Im sure I am being fobbed off as what is shown is not a true reflection of my account.

Any help would be appreciated!!

Is there a marker against the account. The balance and limit figures are of no consequence.

The account is marked as up to date and all green. Im confused because some people on here say if you lower your credit limit then lenders may think the card issuer is doing it. Are you sure they don't see any of this info?
