Virgin credit card - debt wiped?

Hi All,

I have finally got my head out off the sand and logged into my on-line virgin credit card account to look at debt repayment. I haven't been chased for this and it's been over a year now, but I was surprised to log in and find the following message:

Account Suspended
No Payment due
Outstanding balance 0

What does this mean? have they just cleared the on-line account and will they hound me later or has the money really been cleared? I certainly haven't kept up payment and don't want to contact them and ruffle feathers unnecessarily.

Thoughts anyone?

Time to have a look at your credit files. I would guess they have sold it on to a DCA.

    Thanks for the reply.

I did that but it only shows that it was with a DMP. Nothing since.

I would leave it until whoever has the debt contacts you. Any damage to your credit file has already been done.

I owe £4,300 on my Virgin Money credit card, cleared all my other commitments so roughly 12 months payments of £380 odd and I'm debt free with my credit rating intact woohoo

    Good news Paul ;-)

I'm just concerned that the interest is adding up and that they will chase me with twice the amount by the time they get to it. Very confuddling!
