Having signed up for a year at a £3.50 rate for 9 months thereafter £7.50 now told that rates have increased to £8.50 for the remainder of my contract. I;m sure that this is allowed in their small print but what is to stop them and others doing the same with all "special" offers

    Welcome to MSE
I think you've posted on the wrong Board. This one's for Credit Card matters.
Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??

  • This is the wrong board.

However, if you phone TalkTalk they'll even tell you that you can get out of your contract now because of it if you want to. It is only £1 per month though to be fair, you're still not going to find somewhere as cheap.
Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.

ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.
