    I think it's quite sweet. It's private in that only the couple are present at the actual proposal (I assume) but public in a way that involves lots of people without having to actually be in the same place as them.

    I do think that proposals are getting a little over the top sometimes, I was at a gig recently where a bloke got to propose to his intended from the stage at Wembley Arena. What if she had said no? :eek:

    And don't get me started on the men who get a plane with a flying banner!
