Afternoon everyone,my 11 year old D.D has been asking for, pleading, now begging for some hair chalks. It's new to me,I'm a hardened Tom Boy so don't get this girly stuff. I am learning though I can plait her hair even fish tail but braids are the work of devil!

So I've looked at hair chalks and even if I do say so myself "looks easy " therefore I'm after recommendations please, I take it the chalks you use to desecrate the pavement aren't the same ones you use to decorate your hair?

Mods can you move this to Health & Beauty please,I think it may do better there, thank you.

I got some for my birthday. You can get them fairly easy on the internet.

Normally they're like a thin rectangle of bright chalk. We tried them before a night out in Blackpool and they were alright. Some colours were more effective than others (although one of us had black hair and the other is blonde) but I would recommend buying some as a bit of fun. They wash out fairly easy too (although if you're going to brush her hair afterwards, buy a cheap one from the poundshop - my Denman has never forgiven me!)
