Yes ANOTHER Total Parking Solutions Ticket Problem

Hi

I was taking my Nana to Dunelm Mill In Wrexham.
I parked in a disabled space because she has blue badges however, we forgot to display them.
From the timings on the ticket and us going in the shop I think the ticket man watcjed us and just basically took opportunity but obviously I am super p@$$ ed because we had a ticket
we do have badges and I have already called Dunelm Mill to explain. Somone from the store is email TPS to see if they will remove it.
I would like some advice. Apparently laws habe changed and they can enforce? As all the searches I found seem to be older ones.
I also read that they cannot enforce disabled spaces in private car parks
But obviously I want my facts right before I go writing heated letters and emails
I do feel 50 pound then increased to 90 is a disgusting fee.
is it worth appealing? I gave the disability badge serial number to Dunelm

Start by reading the Newbies Sticky in the Parking tickets Forum - which contains all the up to date advice on what to do to see TPS off.

Then, if this thread isn't moved, you need to start your own thread in that forum for further help and advice.

OK, take a few minutes to breathe - then get stuck-in, you will need a bit of cold, calculated application to jump through all the hoops to get shot of this but as a disabled person is involved, a strong complaint to Dunelm reminding them of their duties under the Equality Act would be my first choice. Its this that matters, not the BB as they have no bearing on private parking. All is explained in the thread.
