insurance for acts of terror

i rent out my house, it is my only owned house and the building insurance is landlords insurance. do non of them cover acts of terror? so if a terror bomb goes off I lose my house? I know it's rare but it may still happen. any advise gratefully received:o

    War, terrorism, a lot of standard insurance polices will not cover against them, you can get cover for a higher premium.

    There are quite a few policies that include Terrorism Cover

  • lol no, but it is in manchester and i remember the manchester bomb! no damage them :D

    any one know which ones do, I've not found any, not for landlords as classes as business not personal

    Are you specifically looking for cover that includes damage due to terrorism caused by biological, nuclear or chemicals?
  • nothing specific, I just want to be covered in case my house is badly damaged in any way, it's a lot of money to lose.

    You can buy separate Terrorism cover which would cost circa £54 a year or you will find many policies include terrorism unless it includes chemicals, nucleur or biological
