Hi,
If you are out of work and looking to start a business then you can start online business.check out to find the business that according as per your skill and investment budget. Here are:
1. You can start shopping website.Just spend $29 month and you will have your own shopping website.
2. Become a travel affiliate
3. You can start multivendor store : You can sell your own products or source products from others
4. You can start domain buying and selling.
Still if you any query then ask me0 -
It's a bit pointless asking complete strangers what you should be doing as a business. No-one on here knows you, no-one knows what you can or can't do.
Try a different starting point. Come up with some ideas of your own then come back for advice.0 -
Dog walking is very easy to get into as long as you are prepared to put in the effort. I did it myself and have been up and running since January. I think in all I spent under £5000 to get up and running but you can do it on a lot less. I paid for a van, dog cages, signwriting the van, a website etc but you can start literally with just yourself and free adverts on gumtree and facebook. You would need a vehicle when you start to pick up clients all over but to begin with you could walk the dogs near their homes. Be prepared to have little or no money coming in to begin with, I am only just starting to get lots of dogs on my books, the first couple of months I only had two or three clients.
If you are more interested in grooming you will need to do a course. The groomers I know have done at least three years study to even have a chance of a job let alone starting on their own but it can be a good earner. You could always get a job in a salon and see if they will train you up on the job, there may be apprenticeships available but I'm not sure about that.
If you want any advice about starting a dog walking business feel free to pm me and good luck with whatever you decide to do!

Well I don't have a lot of capital for guard dogs or space for a kennel to house them.. But do any of you know about business loans? And I tried that in the past e.g dog walking adverts but no success but ill try that again!
Definitely have a talk to the Princes Trust http://www.princes-trust.org.uk/ they were very helpful to a much younger me.
What are you good at?
What do you enjoy?
What gaps in the market are there?
Think about things that you and people you know have wanted to buy, or have wanted someone to do, but that you have had difficulty finding.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?0 -
Hi Iceberg
There are a lot of web sites that you can get business ideas from. I have listed 3 for you.
http://www.entrepreneur.com/businessideas/index.html
http://www.infosite4business.co.uk/10-top-business-ideas/

Good luck and hope you find a business idea that suits you.0 -
And the next question is, is there a market in any of those gaps? What gaps in the market are there?
For example, there's no greengrocer in one of the little groups of shops near us. It's a reasonably affluent area, with a good deli, nice bakery, and plenty of footfall. You might think "What this area needs is a greengrocer, I love fruit and veg, I shall open one."
Indeed, one young man thought just that, and opened one. I think it was quite popular, but he couldn't make it turn enough profit to be worthwhile.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Remember you don't need to have an original idea to make good money, sometimes finding a model that works where you can add value, by either being more efficient, cheaper, faster, better can be enough.0
