Help with a tablet for kids

Options
Hello

Can anyone technology minded give me their thoughts on this?

As the way the world is right now my 2 year old daughter is perfectly capable of using our iPad – they use them at nursery and at home she plays games and watches BBC iplayer and nursery rhymes etc on youtube. For the record she only gets it on occasion – she doesn’t sit on the ipad all day!!

Thought this would be good for her to stick away for Christmas but the spec baffles me… is it any good??

It's OK for the market it's targeted at. That said I would wait until nearer Christmas. 6 months is a lifetime in tech.
I love watching the small kids in the family playing on laptops and tablets. It's just second nature to them.
My wife was shown how to do PowerPoint by a six year old. I don't think she's lived it down yet. "It's just technology Aunty!":D

To be honest i got one of those a while back (didnt come in the snazzy pink case mind you ;)) and the performance on them are pretty poor to be honest. They aren't worth anywhere near £109.99, I paid £33 for 2 as they come from China (hence the mention about the 3 pin plug adapter).

After using your Ipad you will be severely disappointed, as RumRat said i would hold out for the Xmas deals and see what Samsung/Amazon/Google are doing dealwise and spend that little bit more.
