    This is another kick in the goolies of the indebted first time buyer, staggering along carrying an inverted people pyramid of landlords, boomers and bankers on his honest shoulders.

    So disappointing for the younger ones. How long will they put up with this?

    people are first time buyers only for one day; after that they start enjoying house price inflation, rent free living and enjoying dinner parties with the local boomers.

    While its true that our boomer neighbours have invited us for coffee and we do talk about how much prices in the street have gone up over the garden fence, I dont think that entirely obviates the plight of the renter.

  • This is good new me, My 90% 2 year fix ended in Jan, so i'll easily be in the 85% bracket now for the next fix..... :beer: Tesco have a 2.99% fixed rate.... that'll do nicely.
