Missing Credit Accounts After Moving

Hi,
Just a bit bewildered as to how to sort this out.
Moved house in May last year, obviously informed everyone who needed to know, mortage company, car finance, CC providers etc.
I've just re-registered with Experian and none of my accounts seem to exist on there. It had my old address on my Experian profile, as I'd cancelled my membership some time ago. However I was under the impression that I didn't have to update my address with them, just the credit companies? But if that's the case why are none of my accounts showing? I've obviously updated my Experian profile with my new address, now.
Very confused, not that that's unusual for me!
