Good morning everyone,
Has anyone had any luck asking mail order companies to reset default dates due to them been added late, eg 3 years after entering DMP, or AP placed on account for multiply years instead of the account being defaulted?
Thank you
Susanna

Yes there are quite a number of people who have reported being successful in doing this by writing a letter to the creditors asking them to be backdated.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

Excellent,
Thank you Tixy, will be sending out a few letters.
Also spend some time, learning how to use the search facilities better.

As Tixy says, quite a few.
The 2007 ICO default guidelines are worth a read.
There is a more up to date version from this year but I presume the older version should apply to you.
Section on arrangements and one on DMPs
