looking for advice about ppi charge

2 years ago we went with a ppi company ismart for ppi on our mortgage they investigated and lettered us to say we had no ppi and could not do anything we then waited 2 years a received a letter from the bank re ppi we then opened a claim our selfs filling out all the form talking to the bank etc and were awarded our claim
we then received bill from ismart for 25% plus vat on this claim how can this be legal that by doing nothing they can do this please help

If the CMC did not do its job properly but then thinks it has a right to a share of the claim that came about independently of its (in)actions then you could complain and say that the circumstances mean that either it has no contract or that the terms in it are "unfair" in the Context of the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contract Regulations 1999.0
