I sold my old kitchen for £110 !
Took pictures of it before I dismantled it all (then broke a few bits in the process!) and then left it outside the house for the buyer to collect - they travelled down from somewhere out in the sticks or Scotland !
Money put through the door in an envelope (as I was out) - sorted!
Next I'll be selling as carpet out of the front bedroom0 -
How odd, they are quite useful bags though, much nicer than your standard carrier.
I'm going to sell everything this time aroundNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

My OH sold an old leather type motor-cycle jacket which had been stuck in the garage for years. He received around £48 quid for it. He has also sold an old bakelite phone for a similar amount.0

I sold a sony phone that had been run over for £40 had little to know chance of working again- described in full couldn't believe it sold. main reason buy carrier bags is because if you have an item that corresponds it adds authenticity and therefore price. did it my self I had a tiffany bracelet(not that fake rubbish that peepe list) but had lost the box in a move, bought a box and listed it got 3 times thee price others were selling for.Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the world together."

I used to collect the old posters that Royal Mail issued to advertise special stamps. I thought "Hmmmmmmmm, I wonder if anyone would buy them?" and they did. I cleared about £27 for what was just crap really.
A friend once sold a six-panel free standing car garage which was pebble-dashed. Some Cockney bloke came up from London with a truck for it.5th May 1973, 3.31pm Porterfield Heaven:j :j
