I have a debt collector sending me letters about a debt called arc Europe for £600 I set up a DD for £100 to pay it off
After checking my credit file this debt is showing as settled on the 1/9/13
So now it's show at settled if that's a mistake can there re open it on my credit file to show I still owe £600?
Plus since it's showing as settled can they still threaten me will ccj and court action?
Thanks

Just because it shows as settled on your file does not necessarily mean it is.
Do you think you did actually settle the debt previously? Is the entry on your credit file in the name of the debt collector or original creditor? If the account is in the name of the original creditor the settlement may just relate to the point they sold the debt.
What shows on your credit file is not admissable as evidence to court that the debt has been paid.
If you believe you did already pay the debt then I would gather what evidence you have of those payments, and also send a letter to the debt collector asking them to provide evidence of the debt.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
