    i agree- 1 week tie in! :D

What are you going to do if they dont sell it in one week?

the tescos idea wont work I doubt fof you-

    a) tescos is only fish4 in a wrapper - and lets face it it aint the strongest site in circulation is it - Ive looked at Rm 5 times today- havent looked at fish4- have you?
    b) OP is not going to be at her house, as shes going ot the other side of the country to find somewhere to move to- this will make conducting viewings quite difficult- if shes not there I mean!

Where abouts in the Uk are you OP- wonder if anyone could recommend good agents? If you were there Id recommend house network, but as your not youd need someone to conduct viewings....?
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Around here only the worst estate agent charges 1%, and they were rubbish, in the end i paid nearly 3%, these agents sold my house in a week. If I was you I would go for the best estate agent around if your in a hurry. You might just sell in a week, but exchanging contracts is a nightmare......................

We are relocating too - in fact OH is already there and I'm still rattling round our house with two mischievous boys! We eventually sold in 8 weeks but only after reducing the price twice, requesting mailouts be carried out every time price dropped, and being in papers as "property of the week".

Eventual buyer was someone living abroad who saw our house on Rightmove!

Could always try a joint agency to tap into 2 databases and try to build up a good rapport with them...

All the agents in my area can be knocked down to 1% with exception of Halifax and Countrywide.

They're pretty much all rubbish - the more you pay, the more rubbish they get. ;)

Let's be clear here .... you won't sell within a week. You might get an offer and it might be at the price you want. But it ain't sold until you've exchanged contracts (and even then, it ain't sold until you complete!) and that could be months down the line. And the buyer can pull out at any time.

Chopping & changing EAs after one week if they've not secured an offer is madness IMHO. You would need to be lining up EA no 2 now, so they are ready to go, if EA no 1 doesn't sell within a week. Do you really want to be constantly sacking & appointing EAs?
    Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac ;)
