Car issued with Cat C 'write off' - Roadworthy?

Kwik Fit will be concerned with WHEEL alingment, which is done by laser.
The BODY of the car could be twisted, and it would need to be rectified by a jig, which is big bucks. Probably why it was written off.
a) If the MOT is valid until December, its MOTd regardless of what they say.
b) it also must be taxed and insured, drive it to the VOSA centre, get a certificate.
All done. Then sell it as if it needs a jig the car will never be right, and could possibly be crabbing down the road.0 -

To be honest, the car drives fine. No difference prior incident. It's only "written off" because it's uneconomical to repair and labelled it Cat C. !!!!!!!s.0
