    My Club Lloyds Monthly saver is funded by standing order from Club Lloyds current account. The incoming payments on Monthly Saver are shown as type "SO" on the statement. I don't know how important this will be on maturity. Personally, I would rather not take the chance.

    Yes, of course, when the SO comes from a Lloyds account, they know it is an SO. When it comes from another bank, they don't know how the payment has been made, they just see it arriving through the Faster Payments system.
