Renting Washing Appliances - Bad Credit?

Options
I'm not sure this is the right place to be posting but meh ..

Long story short, I've had bad credit in the past, 3 or so missed-payments on PDL's '738 Credit Score', I'm looking to rent a kitchen appliance and wondered if anyone knows whether they do Credit Checks/If I will be declined or if anyone can recommend a company to me?

Thanks in anticipation. :)

    What appliance do you require?

Have you looked at freecycle or get a second hand one?

I believe most of the large companies renting out applicances do perform a credit check and do report your repayments to them to your credit file (they will likely mention on their websites if they do a credit check).

How picky these types of companies are and what their lending criteria would be I do not know.

Were the missed payments recent? do you still have outstanding debts/payday loans?

But as suggested above I would consider looking out for a cheap second hand machine or looking on freecycle/freegle as an option rather than comitting to a long term monthly commitment.

Ah okay, no worries. Yeah, about £350 left to pay off now. :) Got in about £3,000's worth of debt from about £1,200's worth of loans..... (3 PDL's, paid one off, two left with circa £260 & £80 remaining). I've worked hard at getting the right down, so it's annoying that I'm now facing potential issues... Silly boy, hey.
