Party gift bag ideas?

Options
I am having a party in just under 2 weeks and I really want to give each guest a gift bag but I am struggling to think of things to put in them, its for men and women between the ages of 14-70.
So far I have got a pack of love hearts each and some mini bags of haribo.
I don't mind making stuff and I don't really want to spend too much money on them.
Thanks

What is your motivation for giving gift bags? Isn't an invitation a gift in itself?

Its just a little something to say thank you as they do a lot/ are always there if you need them :) Normally I would agree that the invitation is enough but I just felt I would like to do something extra for them.

Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time

Ideally a few pounds each, I did think about making some cookies and putting them in cellophane bags?

How about a packet of seeds inside a mini metal pail - these ones are sweet:

I was going to say some miniature wines/whiskies etc but that wouldn't be suitable for the younger guests! Anything homemade would go down well I think as it shows a lot of thought and appreciation.

Get some retro sweets, that the older generation would remember. Like sherbet fountains, pink shrimp etc, and put a little note in each bag. Or get the bag printed with a note on the front.
  • Why don't you buy......
    Mini bottles of wine
    Chocolates
    Bubble wands
There are lots of great ideas at

    Pinkglitter.co.uk

They have low cost ideas that are classy and stylish

    Chloe
  • Perfume/aftershave samples
    Compact mirror for the women
    Key ring torch
Cookies with 'Thank You' iced on
    Pen
    Bubbles!
Miniatures ( maybe not for the teens!)
    Mini pot of jam
    Bottle opener
    Fridge magnet

You could start some seedlings off in mini tubs with a nice little 'Thank You' card tied on
