Hi,
I'm new to switching utility suppliers (been with British Gas & SWALEC for over 20years).
My question is, apologies if its been asked before :-
How often can you switch suppliers and are there penalties for doing so ??
Thanks in advance

When all is working well you can switch every 28 days, but that may mean that you don't get some benefits that you only get at the end of the year.
There's no penatly if you are on a standard contract, but if you have signed up for somehting extra (e.g. Price Protection) they may charge you for that.
Look at the comparison sites and take the best offer.
Make sure you are up to date with your bills at your current supplier, and take readings on the day they tell you you are going to switch, just in case.
Hope that helps0
