Fence panel odd width

I need a fence panel 44 inches wide (3ft high),is it easy enough to buy a regular panel and cut to width or let the fence company do it for £7.50 fee?
Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.

If you know how to do it and have the right tools, its easy. But for £7.50, bite their hands off.

If you have a saw and a tape measure then personally I'd do it myself. If you don't, and you don't want the hassle then get the company to do it.

It should be perfectly straight forwards to do though.

Add the new battens before cutting off the old edge, makes it a lot easier.

Letting the contractor take the responsibility and do it himself for £7.99 is a better tip:D:D
