Legal Cover - Car Insurance

Hi,

I'm just about to renew my car insurance, and just wondered whether you need to add on Legal Cover. It was included with my last policy and it's an add-on option with another cheaper insurance company this year.
I don't have much knowledge on legal cover, so it would be great to get people's views on this and whether it's worth taking out the cover.

Thanks!

Its one of those things. You dont need it until you really need it. Then you may have wished you had paid the extra couple of quid it costs.

    I always take it.

The most expensive way to buy it usually is from your own insurer, typical premiums around the £30 mark. Similar kind of situation to buying home insurance or life insurance from your mortgage provider.

Shop around as there are standalone providers. Just make sure that any of the cheaper standalone providers do not charge a % of your personal injury claim (in the event you had a crash and claimed injury compensation)
