Mate you won't have even sat down by the time you get there, and a morning flight you won't need to sleep.
£1000 would be much better spent on a decent(er) hotel in NYC or an excursion to Vegas for a weekend in between. Spent on a business class day flight of no longer than 7 hours and you'll end up feeling gutted and robbed.0 -

Agreed.
And definitely with Aer Lingus.
I fly with them regularly and they're probably one of the worst national carriers with rude staff who are constantly threatening industrial action.

So glad we didn't upgrade, the business class was not really all that by the looks of it. First time flying with Aer Fungus long haul and probably my last. The movies were old, food as expected wasn't great, they would not allow any prebooked meals, check in staff not very pleasant and very disorganised. Air Stewards were not really interested and kept forgetting to deal with customers or bring them things they had asked for.0
