Incorrect credit reporting

Can anyone help me please
I have used Credit Expert for a few years and was well on the way to achieving an excellent rating until:
The Credit card company I use started to report incorrect large balances to my credit file. I queried this and the report was amended to the correct 0 balance. The credit card company said they had a problem with their computer system. Within 2 days yet again my balance had been altered showing a high outstanding balance again and I now have to wait another 2 weeks whilst the query is raised and dealt with again in the meantime my score drops to fair. I have no outstanding debts and constantly clear my credit card to 0 every month. I am wanting to apply for my first mortgage and am very concerned that the day I have my credit score checked will be a day that an incorrect balance has been reported again. Is there anyway I can get this sorted permanently.
Many thanks

Firstly, stop paying for Credit Expert. Get ProtectMyID instead, it provides you with your Experian credit report and fraud insurance etc, but you just don't get your score. It's £6.99 a month rather than £14.99 a month.
Closing the card and getting a letter saying that your account has been permanently closed will sort this problem. You may also be able to claim compensation from them for your time and their affecting your ability to get credit.
Obviously you may not wish to close the account, in which I would send a formal letter voicing your complaint and say that you want this to stop happening as you're looking to apply for a mortgage.Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.
ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.0
