How long a price of string ? To give even a guessmate we need to know
1)current chimney arrangement and condition
2)are you in a smoke free area
3)what size of property, do you want it to be a primary heat source? Do you want a back boiler ect?
3)location your in as some areas are more expensive than others0 -
Ours was £2,400 3 years ago:
£700 4kW Chesneys stove (included in above cost)
1990 house with existing chimney, no need for a new flue or liner
Enlargement of existing fireplace
Installation of new limestone fire surround (including inside fire place) and hearth0 -
Charnwood C4 - £1500 installed inc liner0

Work on £1000+ for fitting and a liner, as a guestimate. A lot of stoves say you need a liner. They have been passed for use, with a liner, so warranties etc depend on them being used. Check the installer guide to see if you need one prior to survey.0
