Hello,
I bought a treadmill from Tesco on the 7th of last month and it was delivered here on the 16th....
The treadmill is now playing up after around 5 uses on it...
Where do I stand with this please?

Does it not show where you stand in the instructions?:rotfl:
Sorry, couldn't resist
I guess if you notify Tesco before the 30 days are up, you'll get a new replacement.0 -
Not sure your meant to stand on them, but I guess if its not working.....:D:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

As long as you haven't been a twit and damaged it yourself by doing something stupid then don't worry at all.. just ring Tesco up in the morning and they'll advise you further0

The first 6 months after purchase its up to the retailer to prove its not inherently faulty (after 6 months, its up to the consumer to prove it is inherently faulty).
Providing it is inherently faulty, you are then entitled to a remedy. If acceptance has not occurred then you can insist on a full refund. If acceptance has occurred then you can request one remedy over another (repair, replace or refund - which can be partial to take into account usage you have had) however the retailer can refuse if your choice is disproportionately costly in comparison to the other remedies. You keep using that word. With a broken treadmill you will stand still.
I can't see you making any progress0 -
They will most likely get an engineer out to sort it out for you.
If yours is anything like my treadmill, it is over 6ft long and weighs over 120kg. Once they are set up, it is hard to dismantle them, to send back.
Speak to customer services, or the manufacturer may be quicker if you want to ring them.0 -

I came to this thread just to read the inevitable jokes.
So easy, but still so funny0 -
Oh dear, looks like the OP walked right into these jokes.0
