Rough estimate of Gas/Plumber/Leccy

Just doing a quick spread sheet to get some ideas of what it would cost. these are the things that would need doing (My dad is quite DIY savvy so can do a lot of it but not the Gas, Plumbing or Electricity stuff.)
1. Change RCD box from the old style fuse box that you change the fuse wire in the fuse cartridge then put it back in.
2. Change where the water/gas pipes go up the wall, currently in the middle and want to put them going up the side.
3. Plumb in extra plumbing for a dishwasher around the corner from the washing machine
4. "Plumb" in the gas hob.
5. "Plug" in the Electric double oven.
Now can we put the Electric double oven in ourselves and wire it up or do we have to get the Electrician to do it?
I know it's a how long is a piece of string question, but a rough ball park figure would be good please
Thanks everyone.

Its hard to give any ideas on most of that, as there are always situations, where a price will not be as straightforward as it may seem.
You say you want a new consumer unit, but have you had the electrics in the house tested and they are all spot on ok? I had a Jacuzzi bath fitted a few years back and they couldn't do it, as it was an old fuse board, the wiring in the house was horrendous( lights used to dim, when kettle switched on). So had to have a complete rewire. Now have 21 circuit board, with over 40 sockets throughout the house and it cost me £3.5k.
The pipe work will depend on whether you want copper or speedfit pipes used.
The hob/oven, are there pipes to the site of the cooker?, is there also a dedicated socket with the correct rated wire?
The other things are a little easier. The dishwasher pipework, would take a couple of hours maybe and be around £100. If the pipework is to the gas hob, then you need a Gasafe fitter accredited to fit cookers( a lot aren't) say around £100, and an accredited sparky to wire in the oven, if the socket is all ok, say another £100.
It is hard to give any realistic figures TBH and is geographical in price too.0 -
Thanks for the reply. Yeah I know it's a heard question to answer. I don't think the wiring in the house is bad. Nothing has ever shorted out, no lights flicker, everything works well etc but that's me hoping everything is ok
I don't mind Copper or speedfit. My plumber friend used speedfit and pulled out all our old copper pipes when he redid the bathroom, just annoying he's not Corgi registered otherwise we'd get him to do it.
I'm not too sure about the electrics, but it'll be on the same wall as the RCD box about 2 meters away. Same for the Gas pipes. The hob will be put where the gas enters the house so not far away at all.
I'm In Devon as well so luckily it's cheaper down here than most places. What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0
