Well my most recent bill says:
    gas used, 120 units = 1330KWh x 3.47p = £46.20
    electricity used, 287 KWh x 10.79p = £30.97

Working out on those numbers I get
gas, cost per KWh = 28.78p
electricity cost per KWh = 10.79p

So, ultimately gas costs more than electricity. Still not understand.

I've emboldened the key numbers which you've posted yourself.

Ok, but the one you have embolded are the cost per unit for Gas and cost per KWh for the electricity.
It's like comparing apple for pear. They are not the same.

And, as I was saying, the FAQ do a comparison on the cost per KWh that, as shown above (in my case, but I guess this is similar to all UK citizen), are more expensive.

    This clearly says

120 gas units (whatever they might be !) will give 1330 kWh and that each kWh is charged at 3.47p giving a total of £46.20

then it says electricity cost per KWh = 10.79p

Very roughly, you're paying three times as much per kWh of electricity as you do per kWh of gas

Hi, no they are both the cost per kWh, for gas and electricity. 3.47 p/kWh for gas, 10.79 p/kWh for electricity. Traditionally gas was measured in cubic feet (and meters still read as such) but it is now billed per kilowatt-hour in order to make comparisons between fuel types easier.

Your electricity seems pretty cheap per kilowatt hour, so I'm guessing you pay a higher than average standing charge as you use a relatively large amount so that works out cheaper?

Well, apologies if this is the wrong category. As I was thinking to sell the property, today I get a gentlemen to make the EPC.

TBH I'm quite tempted to go for it... but as usual it may seem too good to be true. What do you think?
    Do you have any advice?

    Is this for real?

You are thinking of selling your house AND buying solar panels?

I'm sorry but I can't take this seriously.

Are you on the wind up here?

Well I was thinking of. I may rent it out?
Don't you reckon the cost of Solar panel can be recovered while selling?

The real cost per KWh is 28.78p not 3.47p

    Rent it out?

How are you going to do that for a property you don't own?

    Ludicrous, absolutely insane.

You will never recover the costs.

    Give up this silly idea.
