Many have tried to help you in this thread and not a single thank-you from you.
I, for one, am done here.Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

Consumerist - Maybe you misread the original post,It clearly says that on the 29th there were 2 pending payments,1 was genuine 1 was not,the non-genuine pending authorisation was removed on Friday,ANOTHER pending payment was marked as pending today (Sunday),The genuine amount has already debited my account therefore any remaining authorisations are not genuine, You also havent gave any advice.
Thank you to everyone else.0 -
I have a feeling that you may be confusing your account balance and your available balance.
And also "pending payments" (which are called authorisation holds where money is "reserved" but nothing is actually taken from your account) with the payment transactions which actually appear as a line on your statement.0 -

Thank you
I understand the difference between account balance (the actual balance of the account) and the available balance (the balance that is will be available once all pending payments are made), My point is that any money going into the account will apply to the available balance, the account balance tomorrow when £20.30 is paid in will be £20.30 but the available balance will be -£70 so i will be unable to withdraw any money.0 -
You will if the pending payment drops off.0

OP, phone Santander tomorrow, tell them they should have a fax from Asda and stay on the phone until the authorisation is removed. Then you can withdraw your benefit. You can't do anything if they're not open can you ? It will be sorted tomorrow, i don't understand why you're panicking today ?0

It doesn't appear to be a basic Santander account as those don't come with a Visa debit card, and all of the other accounts come with a overdraft, so you can just withdraw against it. So I'm not sure what the problem is?0

It is a current account but there is no overdraft on the account.
