Anybody been to Twickenham for the Rugby Final Today?

Hubby and DS1 headed off on the train this morning for a fun filled day at Twickenham watching Saints v Saracens with the tickets I won from Rugby World magazine.


They have just got back and had a great time - Saints are our local team

Free tickets, Saints in the final, Saints won in the last 2 seconds of extra time ....... what more could we have asked for?

We went, and it was a cracking game

So glad we went as neutral fans, ("Glaws" supporters Shhh!) simply up for a decent game. It was VERY exciting and may have found it stressful if it was MY team playing.

We had tickets from Gatorade and they were brilliant seats, not far from the benches and with the best view of the presentation.

Also had some tickets for up in the rafters from Hilton, so friends came too and we travelled up together. Their view was fab too- they could see everything clearly.

Gotta love comping .

I won tickets too - I wasn't feeling too good over the weekend so my sister gave my ticket to a friend - they had a great time !

My parents went (I couldn't go ) and they had a great day, they went back all day Sunday as well for Barbarians and County Championships! I was getting rather annoyed by their updates

I won tickets with the Times and also had a fantastic time. We were just slightly too far away to see any thighs (yes, that really is the only reason to go to the rugby), and slightly too close to get a good overview of the match ... still thoroughly enjoyed my day. :beer:
