By the way I am autistic so the way I write/think things is different from many people, please take that into account.

Which doesn't give you the excuse to be rude or judgmental.

No, but you are ASSUMING I am being rude and judgemental when THAT IS YOU!!!!!

All I am doing is POSTING MY EXPERIENCES!

Its actually hurtful as you are judging me when I was actually trying to be careful what I say and yet you think its ok to be judgemental to ME!!

People, instead of looking at things the wrong way, or assuming(wrongfully) actually discuss what I talk about.

OP do you have any disabilities other than your Autism? (which I suspect is high-functioning, given how erudite your posts are!)

I'm sorry but unless you have other disabilities that make you unsteady, I wouldn't expect you to occupy a priority seat. Your disabled bus pass is provided to give you easy access to public transport - not to give you rights to a priority seat.

I have aspergers specifically, I have a very high IQ but fail to understand some basic things in the world which is why I open a thread like this and because of the way I write all too often like here people assume I am saying something I am not.

I wasn't actually meaning that I should get a seat over someone else who needs it more, more that people who expect me to move or who take the seats are not priorty, I would move instantly for a frailer old person or someone who was struggling(I have no problem as such with someone with a pram taking a seat but when other people like a older person has to go to the back of the bus, or its busy and the person with pram is taking 3-4 seats up themselves thats the problem)

Also that people automatically expect me to move not even thinking I may have a disability just going by looks.

If I get on a bus and its empty I often sit on the side seats not the front one as I prefer them, I only sit on the front seats if I have food shopping because otherwise I am cramped and I get sore legs from my medication if I do not stretch them(it affects my circulation)

I do not mind going back a few rows, and I dont mind someone who needs the seat more than me having it but when I see teenage kids such as in P.E kit slouched out on chair with bag beside the and a bus so busy some people are standing I think that that kid should be in a seat further back, something like an old lady should be in that front seat, and where she was forced to sit i.e halfway back I could sit so I am not cramped into the back with sore legs(which not just physically but greatly affect my MENTAL health)

If you don't mind going back a few rows, or someone who needs the seat more than you having it, then why are you sitting in it in the first place? Can't you just go further back to start with?
It does annoy me when I'm using buses and explaining the people I'm with (with learning disabilities) that it's good manners to move further back and leave the priority seats for those that really need it to then have some physically able person (such as yourself by the sound of it) plonking themselves in the priority seats instead.
From what you've posted so far, you're as big a part of the problem as the people you're complaining about.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

AAAAH, Can you not understand there is a difference between me talking about something and the way I act around people.

I DONT always sit in the priority seats, and if I DO, its when its the only seat left OR the bus is empty, I mostly sit a few rows back or on the fold down seats.

I know I am not the best at writing but it seems people are judging ME without looking at the bigger picture, I DO MOVE for people if they really need so I am complaining about people who take multiple seats on a busy bus, and/or dont think about folding up a pram so one or two people can sit down.

As for physically able, did you conveniently not read the part about my bad legs? Sure I am not using a walking stick and can walk but I often get pain in certain situations or sometimes I can get a 2 week period where I can barely walk 2 minutes down the road without stopping and having to sit down as the circulation is that bad.

I am NOT saying I automatically have priorty, I am NOT saying people shouldnt sit on a empty seat, I am saying that some people take the seats then dont care about other people who many need it who do come on(I am not talking about when its empty but when its busy)

Its logical to take a empty seat and I like to stretch my legs out as get sore legs when cramped in, I often try and sit at one which is like 2/3 rows back that is bigger than the others due to being over the wheel.

I never said I always get the priority seat nor that I want or need it I am talking about people asking me to move because they dont think about disabilities, or asking other people to move such as a older person and make no effort to cut down the space.

If you get annoyed at the people you work with, I think you should rethink your job as you do not seem to understand mental health and disablities that well, no offense meant by that but the problem you have is like many you have a sense of "normal" so since they dont seem to fit into it you get annoyed as you think they have a problem which isnt that great a mindset to have.

I have a support worker who treats me like I cannot even bathe myself and makes me quite angry because things like a few times he arrived early and once I slept in so I didnt have a shower by time he arrived, since then at a review with a social worker he said "oh I help him by making sure he has a wash as he doesnt have one before I arrive" assuming that I only shower BECAUSE he is there, the same guy is OCD with the state of my flat, I hoover every day often multiple times and I can have my dinner and he comes early and he thinks my part eaten dinner is rubbish and puts it in the bin! then he tells me how he helped me clean up and I have told him time and time again he has chucked out stuff that I didnt want him too as he sees anything on the side be it a receipt, a half drank can of cola etc as rubbish so bins them and again when social worker came round for review he told them he helped me with my household cleaning as I was messy!!!!

If you saw my eldest son, you would only notice a seemingly fit and healthy 20 year old, with no pass, no crutches etc. In fact, standing on a bus for him would be decidely not healthy as his joints dislocate very easily and frequently...even normal walking can have his hips out.

That said, he does give up a seat when someone needs it (be that an elderly person, a pregnant lady, a mum or dad with small children, someone with lots of shopping, a female of any age or of course, someone who is disabled of any sex or age), even if in reality, he usually needs it more than them!

Re the folding up of a pram, how do you not know that the child itself may be disabled. Youngest is complex autistic (with physical disabilities) and his buggy was his safe zone, take him out of it and he went from barely coping with the bus journey to complete meltdown. We didn't go down the wheelchair route with him as he was (and still is) of very short stature and it seemed a complete waste of resources when a buggy did perfectly well.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Be brave and say "Sorry but I am actually disabled so I need to sit here" :)

I think priority seats should be of those that need them, but what really infuriates me is when mothers (who got their kids by choice) refuse to move their prams for a wheelchair user (not there by choice) trying up get on a bus!

from what i remember, the signs say 'please give up this seat IF an elderly or disabled person needs it'
nothing about not being able to sit in them at all
