UKCPS Fine

Hello everyone
I have received a fine for overstaying in a retail park parking.
I have received the letter by post asking to pay an amount of £60 and the appeal can only be done by post and not email.
Having challenged several unlawful tickets (that I ultimately won) I feel that this is unlawful as well (the main reason for that is that the car was not parked there for 15 minutes and therefore there was no overstay at all)
Having read a few posts about this company, my concern is about whether to appeal or ignore as suggested in many posts.
I will really appreciate if someone can give me some advice on this.
Thank you

you definitely have NOT received a fine , a fine would be illegal
you received a parking charge invoice , no idea where you got the word fine from as it wont say that anywhere on the paperwork !!
just appeal it in the usual manner using the details in the NEWBIES sticky thread at the top of this forum (if its in england or wales)0 -
That's correct it's not a fine, used the wrong wordings.
I'll proceed with the appeal. Thank you0 -
Thousands of people have followed the advice on here and not had to pay a penny to PPC shysters ..... Appeal and win!The word "gullible" isn't in the dictionaryTickets: 19 [cancelled: 18, paid: 0, pending: 1]
PPC Appeals: 8 [accepted: 2, rejected: 5, pending: 1]
POPLA: 4 [accepted: 4, rejected: 0, pending: 0]0 -

The NEWBIES thread has the first appeal template - simply copy & paste and forget about arguing 'what happened' because it's different from any Council parking ticket you may have won before. And the NEWBIES thread first appeal has recently been making UKCPS just fold and give up at the first hurdle!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
