UKPC DRP Debt Recovery letters even after the PPC has been cancelled by Land owner

Firstly Apologies for starting a new thread, but I'm after specific advise that I could not gather from other posts-

Scammer - UKPC
Location - Leisure Park with FREE PARKING
False accusation - Vehicle owner/driver left site (issued within around 10 mins of parking)
Proof - Receipts of purchases from a few shops in the park

  • I appealed as per advise on this site within the 28 days with Proof of Sending.
  • Meanwhile I contacted the owner of the Premises and slowly but finally received email confirmation that they have cancelled the PCN.

BUT today I receive "Demand for payment .." from DRP (Debt Recovery Plus Ltd, signed by Sarah Cooper - which I understand from the forums is just another name of UKPC) without any acknowledgement of my appeal letter or rejection.

Could someone please advise me -

1. Should I contact DRP to explain that I don't owe any debts? what if I don't?
2. Should I contact UKPC to explain the situation? will this help as this is out of their hand already (moved to DRP)?
3. How can I ask for a POPLA code as I did not get any rejection letter.
4. Should/is there any point in complaining to BPA knowing that they are with the scammers.
5. Is there any good place/agency I can complain to make a point?

I do not want to ignore and would like to take some action or atleast send some abuse back for the harrassment - wasting my time of around 20+ hrs, reading through forums & drafting letters, emails etc and the mental torture to my family.

just send each one a letter with free proof of posting , denying the debt and to cease and desist from contacting you , enclosing copies of the landowners cancellation as proof

no idea why you read all those posts for 20 hours , all you had to do is read the NEWBIES sticky thread at the top of this forum, which has a whole section on DR+ and debt collectors

    good luck

I am not sure of actual process, but I would be inclined to forward the email to UKPC along with DRP and demand they cease and desist contacting you from now except to confirm cancellation of PCN.

Sorry Redx posted same time as me. Same idea.
