I've used the bread machine for flatbreads as I have arthritis in my hands so kneading can be painful. Just use the dough cycle then, before it's risen portion it up and roll it out with a pin. I also have a 1970's Kenwood Chef and if I'm not feeling lazy this makes lovely bread dough.

    FF = from freezer :D

Thanks, will do that at some point then - can make my own pizza bases as well then.

Rejigged my plan too, had leftover lamb and potatoes so made Sag Aloo, using Summer Greens and Lamb Curry yesterday - it was yummy ^_^

Have leftover rice from last night so DS and I are having a small portion of egg fried rice for lunch. Having the Venison steaks tonight, DS will have a sausage, chips and peas, and making an apple crumple with apples and HM crumble mix FF.

Back to normal plan on Thurs.
Stay at home Mum to DS Oct 2011 and DD Dec 2013

  • hey guys,

    hope everyone is well.
the plan for this week is ....

Sun - Beef ragu with HM pappardelle and garlic bread.
Mon - YS rump steak FF, fried gnocchi, spring vegetables and peppercorn sauce.
Tue - Cod Teriyaki with ginger and spring onion soba noodles.
Wed - Greek chicken with grilled pitta, HM avocado hummus and quinoa salad.
Thur - Blue cheese, mushroom and caramelised onion flatbreads with rocket salad.
Fri - Hawaiian hula pork fajitas with pineapple slaw and coconut rice.
Sat - More than likely be eating out as have visitors for the weekend.
Sun - Roasted belly pork, woodland stuffing, fondant potato and vegetables.

Trying to use as much from the freezer as its bursting at the seams, so only really had to go and buy fresh this week so food bill has been pretty non existent.

Will try and upload photos - but always forget!

    Have a great week all!

    Debt-free and Proud!
Rejigged mine. Sunday is now Toad in the hole for the kiddies and the adults will be having dinner later (Gyros - Spicy pork, sauerkraut, HM Tzaziki and HM Flatbreads in the bread machine).

We never normally eat seperate, but Gyros is not very child friendly and the kiddies all love toad in the hole! And I really wanted to try the flatbread recipe in the bread machine :D
We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy!
