anybody else......

anybody else won tickets yesterday to the foodies festival in london... that started yesterday and ends tommorow.
how ridiculous talk about short notice what a badly run comp.
obviously can't make it and it started on the day I recieved winning email. :mad:

    did you know the dates of the festival
  • no I just entered but i won taste of london last year and you had maybe month or 2 notice for that very odd to me, is this normal then?

    just curious as to why you would enter a comp when i'm presuming the dates were specified and then complain about it being too short notice

    Comp was probably aimed at people who could attend at short notice - lots of Londoners probably could have. Maybe they can redraw if you ask them

  • will definitely look at dates more closely i just saw closing dates at the top not the dates when winners announced.

    This is why I rarely enter for tickets after I had two lots in one week which arrived after the event and since my time machine is on the blink... mind you I did kick up and they both (grudgingly) provided an alternative prize of equal or greater value ;)

    There are some odd Ts and Cs sometimes - Family holiday prizes where the kids holidays are blocked out seem to crop up quite a bit!
