This thread is for budget products you like. So when you just can't afford your usual product this month and you want a cheaper version.
A few things I rate are
MUA
I really like the eye primer. It's not UDPP quality but for £2.50 it keeps my makeup on at work all day http://www.superdrug.com/mua-makeup-academy/mua-pro-base-eye-primer/invt/589653#readReview
Also their fixing mist http://www.superdrug.com/mua-makeup-academy/mua-pro-base-fixing-mist/invt/580251?source=179_75#readReview is £5 I actually like this as much as the urban decay fixing spray which is £19.50. I think I am going to stick to this and save the money
Also worth looking at superdrug online brand makeup revolution
Nivea
Very cheap and I really like their express hydration primer. It's a moisturiser really but great base for makeup and you can get it on offer for £2.50
http://www.superdrug.com/nivea/nivea-daily-essentials-hydration-primer-drysensitive/invt/556950#youmayalsolike
Collection
The concealer is the best cheap drug store one I've tried. I actually like it better than clinique and benefit ones I have tried and you can't go wrong for under a fiver http://www.boots.com/en/Collection-Lasting-Perfection-Concealer_1436032/
Mineral makeup
I think lily lolo is better than bare minerals and is half the price. Unless you can pick up something in tk maxx they are online only but you can order samples
http://www.lilylolo.co.uk
If you are looking for something to give you nice feet for the summer I rate the soap and glory foot buffer at £8.75 over the micro pedi which is £39.99 http://www.boots.com/en/Soap-Glory%C2%99-Foot-Buffer_1228809/
If you hate plucking your eyebrows and can't afford to get them waxed, superdrug eyebrow shapers are cheap and very effective http://www.superdrug.com/superdrug-eyebrow-shapers/invt/376352#readReview currently on offer at under £1
If you are super pale and so can only get expensive foundation buy a white foundation and use it to mix your own shades. Illamasqua do a white but it's very pricey but through ebay you can get a white foundation from a brand called manic panic which is a US brand
anyone else got some money saving tips?

Oil of Olay, the original pink one for all skin types is amazing and costs about £4
MUA products, as above, great value and quality
Sleek products, slightly more expensive but still great value and amazing quality
Head n Shoulders and Nice n easy
Professional spray tan solution instead of high street products, you can tailor the product to suit 1 litre costs about £25 and lasts around 6 months if you tan once or twice a week.0 -
I love superdrug natural radiance skincare range, especially their hot cloth cleanser and the mask is amazing. Make up wise, a dupe for benefit dandelion is candy floss brightening powder , only 2.24 at amazon. Another benefit dupe for their highbeam is highlights by technic, 2.99 on amazon. I also love make up from MUA, their undress me eye palates are a dupe for urban decays eye pallates. e.L.F makeup is also pretty good. ooh and poundland sell rimmel and Revlon makeup and nail varnish on a regular basis! Many thanks to all who contribute on MSE0

Make your own body scrubs my adding oats or sugar to your shower gel
use a face buffer a couple of times a week and you won't need a facial scrub
If you are a red head like me and you have never been able to get a brow kit in the right colour look at jordana which you can get through amazon. Very cheap.0 -
Great thread Dazedandconfused I agree with alot of what you use!
bought myself two MUA power pout lip crayons at the weekend - they have the same colour payoff as the Revlon ones at a fraction of the pirce and its 342 in superdrug so I picked up the MUA bronzer on a whim and it is pretty good!
I picked up an argan oil hair conditioner for £1 from savers yesterday and it feels like a great dupe for the maccadamia oil one that costs £23!
the Aldi CC cream is a great alternative to the porefessional primer at only £4 instead of the£24 for the benefit product.
Collection concealer is by far the best concealer!
l'oreal lumi magique (cant remember exact name) brightening concealer is a great dupe for the ysl touce eclat!
thats all i can think of for now!Paying it all off in 2017:

Good old glycerin(e) is a very effective facial moisturizer.
Applied directly to wet skin after washing and then towel dried. It is non-allergic, and doesn't shine or feel sticky. Safe to use right around the eyes and doesn't sting if you get it in your eyes. Even tastes nice!
As a bloke, I use it as an after-shave balm. Can't comment on whether it works under make-up though
Can be bought for £1.29 for 100 ml from major chemists, or larger quantities from eBay, etc. Always be sure to get B.P. or food-grade quality.0 -
