Tax credit querying my income on my p60

Hi, just a query I wondered if anyone could shed some light on please.

I rang hmrc to renew my tax credits and for my earnings I gave the figure which is on my p60. The man said that this is not the figure they have down for me from the inland revenue. The figure they have is £1,200 more than the figure on my p60. (I have 3 p60s - 1 from my employment and 2 from pension providers plus widowed parents allowance). My pension and wpa figures I put under other income.

He said I may receive a letter asking for proof of my earnings which is fine as the figure I gave is the figure on my employment p60. I just wondered if this has happened to anyone else and if so what could be the reason for the difference
