Hi All
My dad went away for holiday, I cat sat. Noticed fleas on the cat. Cat was treated with frontline. Rung vet, vet said use stronghold on cat and stay kill on house.
Dad been hoovering and spraying but we are still finding them so I have booked pest control tomorrow to go and spray. They will use ficam. Have I done the right thing? My thinking is it will work better than the spray and what we can do. Will keep the cat on stronghold now!
Im worried so much about all of this.......

What are you going to do with the cat when the pest control people are there / for the exclusion period when they've gone?
Personally I wouldn't want that sprayed in my house - have you researched it?
I'd def be asking them for info on the potential effects / how long everyone has to be out the house etc
Bendiocarb (the main ingredient) has now been banned in the US so I'd strongly advise doing some research before having it sprayed in the houseGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Why dont you buy a flea bomb?
We did this in a couple of the rooms in our house...let the bomb off... shut the door for a couple of hours and hoover up off carpet and clean everything else.
Not had the problem since....the main problem is the cats hitting the water meadow but i cant stop them being cats!0 -
Don't forget to always keep a flea collar in the bag of your Hoover so that when you suck the little blighters up they get zapped!Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal
