Recently a company called SleepBenefits visited my workplace to shocase some of their beds, mattresses. We get a partnership discount through them of 40%. I have a back problem that is healing, but my 2 decade old mattress is hampering the process, so I was thinking about getting a new mattress / bed. They've got some Sealy mattresses on there which are approved by the Orthopedic Advisory Board, which sounds good. However, when I looked at the Sealy website to see if the discount is actually as good as it seems I can't find these mattresses / beds on there, and a google of the names doesn't throw much up:
Sealy Ortho Rest Bed, Sealy Posturepedic Royale Bed etc
I'm wondering if these are old collections now which have been replaced by newer, better beds, perhaps the discount isn't as good as it seems.
Does anyone know anything about them?

The clue should the fact that you can't find the same product anywhere else for a price comparison.
Sorry to say but it all sounds like Sales Patter to me, a reason to buy, it's 40% off.
Who can sell something at 40% off and still make a proper profit? Noone, unless of course the Original price is fake!
It's like asking someone to live of their wage less 40% next month, it just doesn't happen.
Bed makers have a habit of making several products all the same but with different labels on them, so price comparisons can't be done. Dreams have been doing it for years.
Get into a local independent bed shop and haggle on the price is best advice.Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0 -
Lots of bed retailers change the name of the mattress, so they have a bit of exclusivity on it.
Partners website, sleep benefit is run by the manufacturer itself Silent night in Lancashire, so their discount will be off the sky high SRP they quote, in order to discount down for the retailer to work on a high margin instore. For example they may say £1200 SRP, you get 40% off, the Retailer 70%, so retailer is making 30% margin. They wont be selling cheaper than retailer as they would lose retailers showing their product.
I have a mattress from the following retailer, whose name is an own brand one, but when the mattress turned up, it was made by Relyon. The co below, I have bought 3 beds from and my mum an electric 'hospital' bed type of bed and all have been great, no issues from them at all. Have a look here, they are a big Sealy dealership. If you live near where they are based, go in and try the mattresses out, I did and they are great.

Go on the partner website and choose the one you have tried out. Then go on land of beds site and look to see if you can find the same picture. Each mattress seems to have a different sewn design in them. Also read through the description and check tech specs. Both websites use the manufacturers images, so it should be quite easy.
Anyone who has read my posts in the past, know I am not a big fan of buying off the internet, with the way they are killing off the high street, but this company I would recommend hands down. They have a shop, great staff, sell at the internet price instore and have really good reviews online, so for this one I make an exception . lol0 -
If you use google chrome as a browser you can right click on any image and ask google to search for it.Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0

Thanks guys, that's really helpful - I figured they'd have upped the price a bit to give the 40% discount, just couldn't fathom why I couldn't find the same product elsewhere! :-)0
