Have tried searching the forums and not coming up with anything, and if it is in the wrong place please move it
Does anyone have any idea when the small amount of stores they have managed to get will open?
And will anyone be using them as it is the same management who screwed over the Kwik Save workers?

Hi there, i would hope that no one goes into these stores.
I worked at the 5454 Byker, Newcastle Upon Tyne Store, which on thursday night we were told not to come back.
The new company Fresh Xpress(which my store did NOT get transfered to) is a company registered at 5 Castle, Liverpool.
Kwik Save Limited
Kwik Save Group Limited
Kwik Save Corp Limited
Kwik Save Stores Limited
Fresh Xpress Group LTD
Fresh Xpress Retail LTD
the above companies are all registered at the same addressso i would imagine that its the same owner/directors and Mr Brendan Muartagh did not put £50M into the company in February 2007 but appointed his son to be on the board to find out what state the company was in so they could work out a stratagy.
The Stratagy is as follows;
1 They will apply for Administration
2 The Court will put them into Administration
3 They will have all the debt's wages/redundancy's cleared
4 Buy the company back for next to nothing as Debt free
5 Drain it abit more and send it into Liquidation
Thats my Theory, but theres bits i found out and have forgotten. will post the rest when i get round being Jobless lol.

BTTF Traiding Limited
neither 1 was ever a registered company and there for was a sole traider! scary for a supermarket.
I feel sorry for everyone let down by this company but more for the one's transfered to Fresh XPress because the same thing is going to happen again.

what verifercation do you have that the kwik save management, screwed all the staff over!!
it wasn't all their fault, they seemed to be fighting a losing battle!0 -
I have worked for kwik save for 6 years, in that time we have been kwik save, somerfield, kwik save again, and now freshxpress! We had our first delivery today. ambient ,produce, chilled, frozen and fags. papers and bread tomorrow.we closed for the day and will reopen 2moz . Our launch day is Saturday. the first twenty customers get a ten pound voucher. we have been paid, now the fight is on to get our customers back .0

sorry to burst ur bubble but you wil not get the customers back, and in less than six months it wil go tits up for them.0

we are in no bubble. we are aware of the inevitable, especially when we knew where the delivery was from., and a new aldi is being built in time for xmas just 200 yards away.0

I worked for one of the many large suppliers of Kwik Save and we have now also gone into administraton because of the large amount of money owed to us.
In my opinion the new company, Fresh Xpress, will fail within a short period of time, they don't have any cash, they don't have a proper supply chain or purcashing statagy or good retailers running the business and they have !!!!ed off both their staff and customers.
I have just been into one of our local stores that has opened up under the new banner and it is laughable, my six year old Godson could do a better job.
The selection is poor, prices are high and the lack of any housekeeping is clear, why would you want to go into one of these !!!! holes and pay more for the same brand that is sold in Cost Cutter.
Beggers me !0 -

Yeah, im guessing that you work(ed) for JD(John Dennis Barnsley) Fresh Fruit and Veg suppliers to kwik save which has gone into administration due to kwik save's failure or TDG (Ambient Supplier).
Cost Cutter is now supplying the Fresh Xpress stores that have now opened and are supposed to be fully stocked by this weekend :rotfl:
No sign of that stock yet
Kind Regards,

As of 2 weeks ago the store i worked in closed. They sent us all mail to our homes telling us that we will get redundancy and 2 weeks wages. And guess what today is the day its ment to be in my bank account. And its not. They closed out store in a better fashion than some other stores i heard about. They gave us 2 weeks notice. And they we just had a sale and bamm closed on saturday 15th march.
I am not surprised that its gone under so quick. There was signs of this around xmas time. Stock not comming in regualr high prices just not geting the customers back. I can expect a long wait for my money as this what happend to other stores when they closed. As it seems the letter was false after all.
My predictions are the remaining stores that will be open till around july me thinks. Will convert into cost cutters. We had a rep come into our store from cost cutters but i guess he was not intrested.0 -
