    I hope he isn't entitled.

Many people are in mega stressful jobs that they hate. If they all walked out, who would pay the benefits?
The opposite of what you know...is also true
  • Poor fella - needs to be careful not to display his unhappyness at work trust me!
It really is be careful what you wish for then he could be legitimately joining the job centre queue, though nothing stops someone looking for another job, to many people enjoy a 2 year holiday complete on JSA you could say - and these types you rarely see them jump at the first job opportunity paying poor wages and crabby conditions I bet but they can sure nitpick others who don't earn enough to make ends meet! Yeah that is how it works so no-one is the lesser person really?

Tell your fella to never give up hope.

Find another job or he will be leaving voluntarily.
  • He wants quit just because he dosent like it? I'm struggling to phrase this in a positive manner... We gotta work, we need to eat, we need to put a roof over the kids heads, doing all of that means something and gives us a sense of self respect. He's happy to let his and your family's safety net go? Get rid.

It could actually be workplace bullying and there are laws in place about that I believe. The man might actually want to do the work even though it's not what he expected. Nothing worse than a bully, believe me I know been on the receiving end of it.

I wouldnt have anyone shouting at me at work,I'd stand upto the person and ask them to speak to me in a polite fashion if they didnt then they would be on their back.
I'd leave, sod that for a laugh.
